Dear Singh,
normally every time we hear The toal CTC, or your package is this much,
that means, it includes all the annual perks given by the employer, that includes PF contribution of employer also.... not only that some employers include Gratuity contribution ( 4.8 % ).
So while negotiating CTC, should negotiate abot the take home salary also.

I agree with Sachin... since CTC means what you are costing to the company the emplyers share of PF is also included in it.. Although it is not reflected in the Salary slip.

CTC in itself denotes Cost to Company.. It includes direct as well as indirect cost which is going to be incurred by the company to the respective employee..
Direct Cost is his/her Gross Salary
Whereas Indirect cost may have a number of attributes.. Some are
Gratuity Provision
Employer PF contribution
Employer ESIC Contribution
Provision of Bonus if applicable
Medical Insurance
Group Personal Insurance
LTA and
if any other

CTC (Cost to Company) is the cost incurred on an employee. So employer normaly adds his PF contribution in package itself.
