Hello,

I would suggest that you decide on certain hospitals where you would conduct the study. Take permission from HR/Admin of the hospitals explaining them the purpose of your study and mention that you would give the copy of analysis and conclusions for their use. Also ensure that you will not disclose any names in the report or even identity of the hospital in the report.

Find out who are the people from various departments of the hospital, including HR, who are ready to help you. In case there is data available about reason of people leaving by way of any statements or by way of exit interviews. If that is not then you will need to talk to various people about possible causes of leaving by meeting their colleagues. A structured questionnaire will help in conducting such interview in short time and allow you to get all relevant information.

It is necessary that confidentiality is maintained on "who said what" - in fact you also need not note the names of people.

After you have collected the data from interviews you can analyse and prepare your conclusions. As you analyse the data - the data itself will start speaking to you and suggest the recommendations which will help reduce attrition. Even if some actions are initiated by the hospital it is likely that attrition may still be there but at least motivation of existing employees and customer service would certainly improve.

Now you probably will ask me " What the questionnaire should be?" !! :)

Hope this helps
