Hi, Which is the best method of performance appraisal for the employees who are deputed with the client? Does getting an appraisal form filled by the employee on net and sitting with the Reporting Authority in the client's place for feedback give the correct picture?

This one is tricky, Performance Management as a tool is comparative and hence the perceived justice in terms of what is done with the post evaluation data is critical.
Getting a system set up and having forms filled in by direct onsite managers isn't difficult, what would be a task is creating a reward and development process thats perceived just by employees.
Surely doable however as a business model there may be setbacks as consulting models are less supportive of career plans.
That's my perceived experience.
