Dear member,

I recommend you abide by the provisions of the Shops and Establishment Act of your state. That is the basic requirement. Otherwise, the rules and regulations applicable to other departments will remain applicable to those who work in the bars and pubs.

Additionally, please find out from the local police authorities what should be the closing time of a pub. In many cities, the time limit is 12:00 AM.

Lastly, check whether smoking is permitted in a bar or a pub. The employees who work in these places get heavily exposed to passive smoking and they have a higher risk of pulmonary diseases. We need to take care of the health of those who work in pubs or bars.
