I don't have a relieving letter from my two companies for which I worked before. I worked for 4 and 9 months in the first company and second company respectively. I'm not able to contact one of the companies and contacted the second company. According to them, they cannot provide the letter as I resigned without serving a notice period of 3 months. What can be done now? Will I get a job in the future in a reputed company?

Lack of relieving order is not going to affect your employment chances in a decisive way. But if you mention to have worked in these companies, naturally the next question would be where is the reliving order. You have to spin out some reason for not having them. If you don't mention it, then you will have to explain what you were doing for nearly 13 months. Also it is quite possible that when EPF membership is taken in the new company your lies may get exposed. So you need to take a conscious decision looking to these factors.
