Dear Sir/Madam I am posting one case study and requesting for your valuable opinion regarding this issue....Disciplinary Authority imposed penalty "Reduction of three increments with cumulative effect i.e., this imposition shall continue till his service period and he will earn his next increment after 1 (one) year of continuous satisfactory performance from the date of issuance of the punishment order" punishment order issue on 03.04.2019. In this respect it may be mentioned here that the month of increment of the concerned employee is June of every year.
Now my question is due to this penalty his month of increment will be change or not? As on 01.06.19 his pay is Rs.12940/- , as on 01.06.2018 his pay is 12480/- , as on 01.06.2017 his pay is Rs.12040/-, as on 01.06.2016 his pay is Rs.11610/- & as on 01.06.2015 his pay is 11190/-.
Now after issuance of punishment Order his pay will be Rs. 11190/- as on 03.04.2019 and his pay will be Rs.11610/- as on 03.04.2020. Whether this fixation of pay is right or not?
