Pls find attached Gujarat Government Extraordinary Gazette on The Gujarat Shops And Establishments (Regulation Of Employment And Conditions Of Service) Act,2019.
1. 7 days Casual Leave & 7 days Sick Leave to be credited into employee's account in the beginning of the Calendar Year.
2. Earned Leave : 1 day for 20 working days to be credited to employee's account, if worked for 240 days in a calendar year in the subsequent year i.e. on 1st January. (Max. 15 days) 365-52-8.
3. 8 Paid (Festival) Holidays i.e. 26th Jan. 15th Aug. & 2nd Oct. plus five other holidays.
It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by Notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
