I am working as HR in an organisation since one & half year . The company i am working for was completely unorganized and really messed up when i had joined . In this duration of my service , i rectified everything that was wrong , prepared proper company policies in writing , assigned clear job roles. MD of my co. is very impressed with my work , i got promoted BUT , i am being targeted by the the senior managers who now due to proper organised culture cannot do there wrong doings including my General Manager (to whom i report).
My GM is trying to make me quit my job. Our MD Though appreciate me don't want to get involved in this .......
I feel HRD in India needs more respect and Power , i want to invite your opinions and advice on the above matter.

"First Deserve Then Desire" was the Baton-of-Lesson passed on to me by Superior when I started my "Expedition"/ Initiation in Human Resource (basking in the Glory of Energy & Intelligence of Human Beings) Management, as it were. After years, I am not so sure, that State of or the Tip is Scaled by me. Nevertheless, the "Impression" crafted in the Minds/Memories of those I interacted with is akin to "trompe-l'oeil y". My People I worked with in Tata Steel and elsewhere including Mumbai, lived under the Spell that I, to them was Helpful.
Let Professionals, like you and me and the Entire HR Community/ Domain continue to Do Our Best- Our Best Shall be Good Enough for the Organizations Who Exist, Strive and Thrive to Create Wealth and Wellbeing for all the Stake-Holders. Courage Counts.

In which way are you being targeted by Senior Managers?
You need to document their behaviour and keep informing your HOD about such issues where ever necessary.
How is your GM trying to make you quit?
Just be calm and do not fall for traps and tricks to make you angry and violate company decorum/rules.
""Our MD Though appreciate me don't want to get involved in this .""
This is a serious warning sign, that if the crunch comes MD will sacrifice you.
Look around for change of job.Your attempts to bring things in order were secretly unwelcome in the company, including by MD also.

Dear Neeta,
Its good that u organised all the HR policy and that need to maintain office decorum. The MD of the company appreciated u for this initiative and his purpose was that base as per your recruitment in the organisation.
The MD of the organisation well known of uneven work of office and u became as he desire.
So, don't worry about your GM behavior...your good work will gave u backup .
Need to stand your good will, no one will harm u
Thanks
