Respected seniors
This is Ramu working as DM-HR&S in manufacturing sector. My query is that Can we terminate manager category employee without holding domestic inquiry by giving one month/ two months notice as per his appointment order on any reasons like poor performance, negligence, fraud, misbehavior etc.
Kindly give your valuable suggestions on this query

If you have "conduct, discipline and appeal rules" for managerial staff, go as per the clauses. If you are terminating due to misconduct, it is better to follow the regular procedure of notice/show-cause/enquiry.
If still possibilities are there to settle it amicably, like if the employee resigns and company pay compensation for 2 months, then you can save a lot of unnecessary effort on both the sides.
