Hi,
What is your actual notice period in your present company? On a lighter side, any employee who states their family as a reason to quit will have an offer in hand. You cannot do anything here, rather than speak to your manager and ask him to recommend you for an early release to the HR department. Haven't you spoken about your actual notice period to your new employer. This is what happens when you take hasty decisions. Good luck though..

Have you written a letter of resignation to the company and have stated that you are serving 60 days notice period and for the rest you are ready to pay? Did the company reply? What is the exact content of these communication. Depending on that a proper answer can be provided.
If the company does not respond to your letter of resignation (provided that you have proof of submitting it) then automatically your resignation shall stand accepted unless there is rejection in writing.
