Hello,
I was working in a company for almost 2.5 yrs (Job 1)and then another company but had to leave job within 3.5 months (Job 2) and joined another company for now more than 2.5 yrs(Job 3), however there was a gap of 3 months+ between job 2 and job 3.
My query will is due to a gap of 3 months 3 days, will it be construed as not in continued education and now withdrawal will be taxable.
Thanks
VJ

Dear friend,
Non contributory period will not affect your tax exemption. Only thing is that it will be deducted from your total service, as you didn't contributed to PF during the period.
