We are in a process of organization development and Re-structuring . We want to introduce Saturday off policy / Half day policy in the company however as you all know it is very difficult to implement half day / Saturday off policy in textile sectors ( Home Textile ) and we have 5000 + employee all over company group .
I need a HR expert advice and if anyone have policy please share with me .

You have no right to eat away your employees weekends and put them in jail like atmosphere. From my 20yrs experience I can tell you this will be the biggest disaster. While companies are shifting to 4day week and work from home 5day week - you are going reverse to the previous decade of horrible employers. I warn you to not make your employees come on saturday. Its a waste of HR.

Dear
You may extend the daily working hours, so that the weekly working hours of 48 is achieved and saturdays and sundays may be considered as weekly off. Working hours should be 9.30 hours instead of 8.00 hours.
