I have worked with a pvt ltd company for more than 15 years. I have resigned and relieved. I am now applying for withdrawl of my EPF balance since I will not be working as employee in future.
1. With Form 19, I have to submit Form 10D for receipt of pension. In form 10D, under sr no 14, I have provide my bank account details. I understand from friends in industry that I have to open a new saving bank account for receiving pension amount, with a bank having mandate from EPFO. Can somebody please provide me list of bank names approved / mandated by EPFO to receive pension amount !
2. My residence is in Mumbai, and I would like to open account in Mumbai, where as I have last served in Baroda / my EPF account is in Baroda. I hope I can open account in Mumbai Branch of the EPFO approved bank. Kindly confirm.
3. I am 48 year old and have left service and do not plan to be employee again. Can I opt for REDUCED PENSION in Form 10D ? for pension starting after I reach 50 years of age ?? Kindly suggest.
