Dear Karim,
I see what you say. If I read between the lines I understand that the issue is not about the employee motivations but its more about employee engagement activities which needs to be strengthened.
I strongly believe that monitory benefits is not the only means of motivating an employee. It consists of various aspects like giving the ownership of the task, making an individual accountable, giving new roles in the work place, have regular meetings, interact more with the down level staff, encouraging the staff to get on to a presentation, organize some weekly/monthly/quarterly events, emphasizing active participation from all the levels, timely rewards and recognition, will bring in lot of change in the way team thinks and reacts.
