Where will you be conducting primary research and have you formulated any objectives for your project?
In which institution are you pursuing your studies? Training and Development is a vast field to study for a student's project. Hence you need to narrow it down. Please see the threads on Research Methodology and MbA Projects/dissertations started by me.
For example, my search led me to a thesis at https://bora.uib.no/bitstream/1956/1...e-simonsen.pdf.
Also, kindly search the web for what you are seeking and read scholarly or refereed or academic journals. They usually have theoretical frameworks.
