Hi friends... I have some confusion regarding ESIC registration & payment regularisation. Plz suggest me...
What is the basic criteria for registration & coverage of ESIC. In the first month if my company employees strength reaches to 12 and out of which only 8 members gross salary is less than 15000/-. Weather we have to pay the first month ESIC contribution to regularise the ESIC registration?

wef 30 june 2010, for any manufacturing establishment - esic is applicable if it has 10 employees (head count - no slary slab etc.) However, except in state of punjab where the above clause is applicable even for other est., for other etablishments esic will appliable wef date est. has 20 or more employees having gross salary less than 15000/- per month.
