Dear HR Friends,
Currently, I am drafting a leave policy for my company. Could you please assist me on the following Privilege Leave (PL) issues:
1) Number of times PL can be taken in a year
2) Number of days PL can be taken at a time
3) Should PL be made compulsory for the employees to take at least once in a year.
I appreciate your help and quick responses
Thank you in advance
Regards,
Akruti

2.Number of days to avail is not mentioned in the act but some comapanies make it a policy that minimum number of leaves shall 3 and maximum leaves as per their leaves in their credit.
3. As per Factories Act PL/EL shall be applied atleast 15 days in advance.
4. There is no compulsion of taking PL/EL in the year. Unavailed leaves shall be carried forward to next year and added to the leaves earned in suceeding year.
