Kindly pen down the suggestions that you have for the improvement of employee relations/interactions.
Have a word with your HR Manager and tell him in a proper way that If we can follow those practices in the company. Make him understand the advantages.
If approaching your HR Manager is a problem, then you can shoot him an email and take time from him as per his convenience so that you can discuss personally.

dear Hemant,
With your company size, manage employee engagement would not be so hard. If you have not receive any positive feedback from your HR Manager, it could be possible that the program might not be his priority right now. You can always start the program in your department. If the result is positive, I'm sure the management will take notice.
The program needs champion, you can be the champion, not necessarily HR Manager.
Hope this helps.

Dear Hemant,
Your employee strength is only 100, so it's good opportunity to connect with the people more and ehnance Employee Engagement. First talk with them ,know their interest and ask them their suggestions what activities they want to be part of if condcuted in the organization.
If their suggestions like say Chess, Antakshri, TT, Singing competition, quiz are feasible for you to organize, just consult with your Manager. Tell him that majority of your people want have this event.
Ensure cost effectiveness and Time guideline to convince your Manager. Tell him the bright outcomes of organizing such activities that not onle build morale and employee development but also nurture organizational culture. You are a HR person, approach him with your best skills!!!
Best Wishes,

Hello Hemant,
As our friend suggested rightly, you really do not have to depend on HR to start any employee engagement programs for your team.
During the roster, you can pick up any specific time which dose not effect the SLA’s for the process and initiate a small activity. Activity could be like playing some indoor games, conducting quiz contests etc.
Am sure your initiative would get the attention from other process leads / Manager who would indent pressurizes the HR to take up this an on going activity.

Dear Hemant
It is not the sole responsibility of HR to create engaged employees. In actual fact, everyone in the organization - from the boss, HODs, managers, supervisors to the staff have to play an active role in employee engagement.
If it is not possible to achieve company-wide engagement initiatives, then start with divisional-wide or your own department first. As engagement beings with communication, you may kick-start within your own department on this area, follow by review of work processes, building a cohesive team, etc.
I am very sure that once your department experience good result, rest of the departments will follow suit. From there, management and HR should be able to take it from there and administer it as a company-wide initiatives.
Regards
Autumn
