Hi ,
One of my friend was joined in big MNC 5 months back, he was there with that company only 2 weeks .After that he joined with some other company without giving any notice and resignation.Last month that company sent a legal notice to him,that stats to pay notice and the salary which he received for 2 weeks.This month again they sent another notice but he did not collected .
What is the correct way to respond to that notice.

tell your friend to chill out and enjoy with another job ,no need to reply the letter.
they simply write letter as there HR dept is handled by nonprofessionals and does not have legal knowledge.they can noy recover any money.
ofcourse your friend should have resigned.
