Hi Neerja,
These are the details about the arious kind of leaves:
C.L- Casual Leave
P.L- Privilege Leave(Most of the company has either EL or PL)
E.L- Earned leave
S.L- Sick leave
Maternity Leave
The leave policy can be designed keeping in mind the regulations as per law, rest evreything is upto the company.
Keep in mind the procedure for applying for the leaves.
DO mention how many leaves per annum wil be there such as C.L should be minimum 7 etc.
I would suggest you design your own policy, and then we all can review it.
For new employees, generally the P.L starts after completion of one yera of service.
I hope you will design your own Policy and I promise you we all support you.
Cheers
Archna
