Please anyone Clarify the my doubt regarding Wage under ESI Act 1948. We are planning introduce the attendance Incentive the staff who are working in production basis on their monthly attendance. They will get the attendance allowance if they touch the mark. Please clarify the attendance allowance amount will come under ESI wage or not ,If yes please give the ref no.of the Act.

Dear Madhu, Now every head is consider for ESIC contribution but still if you decide to pay such incentive at Quaterly (interval exceed two months) shall not liable for ESIC contribution. ACCHR
