Hi, I am Jitendra from Rajasthan. I was working with Vodafone as a Store cce.

I met an accident while coming to my home from office in a transport roadways bus on 16 Nov 2019( bus crashed with truck). I lost my right leg from knee point with big fracture in fimer of same leg also fracture in my RHS jawbone and my right eye punctured with glass part and my right hand imbalanced or crushed from wrist part.

I had ten critical operations after this and the last oppression been in Oct 2020.

I was working with Vodafone on the payroll of ikaya from the last 5 continue years. I were getting 17839 rupee salary + 7000 rupee (15%variable parts 200%) incentive

= Total 25000 almost salary.

Were connected with ESIC and Epfo both.

Now am feeling better from my health side so want to know about

1. How much and how to I can get a pension from ESIC and EPFO?

2. What's the process to get an artificial limb by ESIC.

Please tell me.

You are eligible for receiving compensation for permanent partial disablement in accordance with the ESI Act 1948. The compensation would be payable every month and would depend on the loss of earning capacity. As regards pension in the PF Scheme, first of all the eligibility is only if there exist permanent total disablement while in service, also have you been terminated and job less. You will have to apply at both the local offices of PF & ESI and has to contact both of them.

As mentioned that the member was regular contributory with ESIC, so it is assumed that total medical supervision is completed under ESIC,
as the ESIC is not applicable above 21000/- of average wages, so be careful while discussion, and get your actual ESIC salary only in picture which is around 18k,
ESIC AMO may call a medical board for fixation of disability benefits ad-hoc and per month, (and it is not pension)
Regarding the artificial limb also, the AMO of your jurisdiction may call a medical board and would recommend further
Regarding EPF, the amount contributed towards your EPS is not available, but as the service period is only 5 years, it may be fixed to the lowest i.e 1000 (lowest minimum pension at present) subject to the new pension bill for enhancement, which is pending in LS for enhancement of pension
