Hi Surabhi
I have some information about KPI and KRA s
KRA - Key Result Areas
Every poistion holds certain responsibilities, thees responsibilities are called KRAs.
You can define the roles of the individuals that ways you will be able to get the KRAS
KPI - is basicaly used to monitor the performance. How much is an individual av;e to achieve as per his responsibilities.
e.g. a BDM - how many clients is he able to add?
How much revenue was he able to generate?

I hope you will get some help from it.

Cheers !!

Dear Friends,
Whatever idea I am having idea about KPA, I am sharing here.
1] KPA is Key Performance Area.
2] KPA should not be more than 4 or 5;
3] It is next step of a organizations set upped objectives for the year.
e.g.
a] Organization objective is "Total Customer Delight" Departmental KPA can be "Product Quality Improvement"
b] Organization objective is "Total Customer Delight" Departmental KPA can be "Internal/ External Customer satisfaction"
c] Organization objective is "Total Customer Delight" Departmental KPA can be "Timely supply of Spares"
d] Organization objective is "Drive for establishing LEAN manufacturing Concept" Departmental KPA can be "Cost reduction"
e] Organization objective is "Drive for establishing LEAN manufacturing Concept" Departmental KPA can be "Optimum utilisation of reources through out Company"
4] Once the organization set upped the goal then each & every department has to fix their KPA accordingly and setup the KRA of individual employees. It is also to note that regular duties are not KPA. It is combined task other than regular duties of employee. KPA should be SMART
S = Specific M = Manageable A = Achievable R = Realistic T = Time bound
Hope you will get an idea about KPA from this.
Thanks
Kishor
