hai can anybody tell me how do we calculate the PF, PT and ESI ? what are the rules and regulations to calculate all these.............. i hope to here answres from you Prajaktha

Hi Prajaktha,
PF is contributed from both the sides @12% of basic salary...
ESI is calculated @1.75% of gross salary from employee side... and @4.75% of gross salary from employer side...
And the ceiling for ESI is 10,000/- gross salary... after reaching the ceiling one will be exempted from ESI...
Whereas PT deduction does vary from state to state...
