Hi, I have a query regarding CLRA, Lets say, if PE has asked 5 number of workers from IM for marketing / data collection job (Nature of Job: Reporting morning at office at 9, after morning meeting they leave for the assigned job, and return office at 6 for daily work reporting). Will these 5 workers be considered under CLRA.
Thanks in advance for guiding me.
Thank you

What is IM here? PE could be understood as principal employer but what is IM? If these employees are paid directly by you, how is CLRA coming in to picture?

Hi,
Thanks for the response
IM was typing error it is IE ( Immediate employer )
Actually I was confused with two clauses of CLRA, CLRA states that workers should be within the premises of PE,
Few weeks ago we had an incident where we had an sales event outside the premises for a period of one month , and we had sent our security guards ( employed through Contract agency) at that place , My question is that if these guards are outside of premises but working for PE, will they be included in CLRA for that frame of time,

For more info i would like to add that these guards are working in our premises for entire year , and are only sent out during events ( Will they be considered outside worker )

Ok. Already the security guards are contract workmen under your principal employer. It is only a work arrangement, where they should be deployed. In this case it is irrelevant. You can ask your contractor to deploy them at Sales Point or factory. When they are engaged in sales point, their status will not change but they will continue to be under CLRA.
