Dear Sir/Madam, I have recently joined a company in Bangalore, but today I came to know that,

(1) in 2015 some personnel availed the second (new) license due to business relocation in the same city,
(2) After that the license renewed and now valid until 2024.
(3) The first (old) license had been obtained in 2008,

But today we received a communication from the senior labor inspector that the old license has expired in 2017 and needs to be renewed and we should answer.

Please suggest me how the process should be to close these issues once and for all

You just need to tell him that you are no longer operating in that premises Perhaps you need to surrender your license and there may be some closure form. He will tell you what you need to do
