No 5-day Week? Companies Won't Get Best Talent (TOI - 16-Aug-2022)

The article with the above heading has been published in today's Times of India. It says that the talented candidates are not ready to join the companies that follow a 6-day workweek. Therefore, they are required to settle for the "leftover" candidates.

In the 21st century, employers have to accept the diktat of the job market. This is an emerging trend.

Future Trend: - If the candidates are refusing to join the companies that follow a 6-day workweek, then a time may come when they will start demanding an 8-hour workday. The talented candidates may start turning away the offers from the companies expect to work "long hours". Let us wait and watch.
