kindly suggest At the time of provident fund calculation, what should be the basic of gross salary? For such gross salary 14000 / - how much basic should be.

For a salary of Rs 14000 per month, the entire amount should go to PF and even if you bifurcate it you should consider the entire amount as PF qualifying salary. At least you should consider the statutory minimum wages fixed by the government for your industry or industry related to your industry. Every payment, like bonus, leave encashment, gratuity at the time of discharge, are linked to the statutory minimum wages. Then why should not pat PF on that wages?
