we are hiring trainees in our firm so what would be the basic salary can be provided to them as a trainee. Need your advice

Since these trainees are not apprentices engaged through Apprentice Act, you should pay salary equal to minimum wages notified by the government. It shall consist of a basic pay and a dearness allowance variable according to changes in the consumer price index
