Recently I got an offer letter from TCS. Background Verification is pending.
But I missed to mention 2-4 months of employment details to TCS.
I have offer letter and experience letter of that job as I left it due to medical reason. And I'm hired based on 3 years of work experience which I mentioned to TCS. Also I have shared UAN number with TCS which shows my previous employment details.
Please guide me if anyone have witnessed similar sceneries as an employee or HR.
Will company update my short term job details once they'll get to know it or they'll fail my Background Verification due to this reason ?

A prospective employee is expected to furnish all information which are true, in the Employment Application form of any prospective Employer. You might have noticed in Employment Application form of any company that, " I hereby declare that whatever information I have furnished in this Application form are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief". When you sign under this declaration, in the Application form, it means you have furnished every true and correct information. At a later date, if the company discover that you have suppressed some information, the management/HR may raise their eye-brows about your integrity as a prospective candidate

How have you just noticed this omission now?
You should have checked and double checked your employment application BEFORE you sent it. Surely there is no-one in India now that is unaware of the fact that a background check is very likely to unearth every single thing about your life. The need for scrupulous honesty should be ingrained in to everyone's mind by now - especially when it comes to employment.
The time to have fixed this problem was as soon as you discovered it, not when the background check is underway and will discover the discrepancy. I would suggest you deal with this immediately with HR at TCS.
One of the things many employers look for - and most certainly I did when I was in the workforce - is attention to detail. You have failed that test.
To everyone else reading this, check your CV/Resume's NOW, and make sure every minute of your employment history is fully documented, and where possible make sure you have adequate evidence, ready to produce if and when required. Likewise with any gaps in your history. They need to be accounted for.
