This is a policy which need to be addressed by the respective company/management, as, the quantum of reimbursement differs from company to company, and needs modification of rates after a span of 4-5 years, keeping in line with rise in fuel costs.

Some thirty years back, an Auto major in India was giving local conveyance reimbursement to the tune of Rs.1.50 per km for two-wheeler and Rs.5.50 per km for 4-wheeler.

So, your company management need to take a call on this.
