Extension of the ESIC Scheme to Construction Site Workers

ESIC vide its Order dt.31.07.2015 had issued instructions regarding extension of ESI Scheme to construction site workers through which site workers of construction companies were also to be covered under ESI Scheme.

As far as my knowledge goes the mater of ESI for Construction workers is pending before Honorable SC of India in the year 2018. Any recent updates on this important subject happened post to that. If so kindly share to all for benefit of understanding. I enclose an attachment on the subject from ESIC in the year 2018. Kindly update any latest news on this.
