Are these supposed to be the same numbers - Notice period in case the company terminates you vs the notice period you are required to serve in case of resignation?
can you have a policy to ask for 60 days notice period in case of resignation and 30 days in case if employer terminates you?

Such a discriminatory notice clause would be against equity. Just because the employer happens to be a dominant party in the contract of employment, he cannot introduce such a discrimination against the employee and exclusively to his own advantage in the notice clause of unilateral termination of the contract.
