Dear sir,
If employee who attains the age of 58 works 13 days in September 2020, the NCP Days will be 17.
EPS Wages will be Zero for the employee who attains the age of 58.
Error file is generated while uploading the text notepad document.
The Error is as follows
" Error NCP Days should be zero as EPS wages are zero. found on line numbers: [5] "
Do we need to make NCP Days as Zero even though the actual NCP days are 17.
Please clarify.

@Thirumurugan
NCP stands for non contribution period, and it does not relate with EPS anyway, if the contribution is paid for full month, then NCP = zero
if contribution is paid for 13 days only and marked exit on 13 or 14 then also the zero is valid,
17 as NCP is just a mark to calculate the missing days i.e less contribution

Since the Employee concern exceed the Age limit hence , EPS contribution is nill, his/her pension already determined as per his/her past Services. Hence no need to mentioned NCP days.

I have got the same error mentioned by @Thirumurugan ("Error NCP Days should be zero as EPS wages are zero. found on line numbers"). How to rectify this?

@Thirumurugan
the month in which employee attains 58+ have to be paid full EPS and there thereafter EPS would be 0(zero) in subsequent ECR, but it does not to be reflected in NCP, as the employee is not making absent or not marked as "non contrbutory"

While uploading the ECR text file, Getting the following error.
'Error NCP Days should be zero as EPS wages are zero'
I have mentioned '0' under EPS wages because my employee is not eligible for EPS and mentioned '1' under NCP Days, because the employee took the leave for 1 day. what is the problem here?

@ when EPF and EDLI salary is FULL and there is no reduction, then question of NCP does not arise, it must be zero

@Glidor
In Restricted basic case(EPF wages will be 15000, even if the actual basic is 30000), If my employee took 1-day leave, even his/her EPF wages is 15000. So In this case, I have mention EPF&EDLI wages as 15000 and NCP days as 1 right?
