If we deduct 30% on an employee's basic salary and then he/she absent, what will be the calculation of deduction on his absenteeism?
Will it be calculated on his basic salary or after his 30% deducted one?
For Eg: If the salary of an employee is 15000/- pm. After a 30% deduction, it is 10500. And he absents for 1 day. His net salary is 10,000/- or 10,150/-?

The deduction has to be in proportion to the Basic Pay earned. From Rs 15,000 pm the basic pay is reduced to Rs. 10500/- so for all calculation purposes the current Basic Pay is to be reckoned.
