Hi, I am working for an Manufacturing company, management asked me to redesign the salary structure for service and sales employees.
The present salary structure is Basic, HRA, Conv(2500, fixed) and spl. allowance. So management asked me to define the structure by removing Conv concept. And this conv. amt can be claimed by submitting the bills. Can anyone help me how define the salary structure for the same.
Thanks in advance.

Dear Hr-Servomax,
You are a HR professional and asked to do restructure the salary of your employees.
Today when you are going for restructuring of the salary of your employees, you need to study the Code on Wages, in-depth. If you have any query on this code on your study you can ask over here and you will get the answer.
No one can define your salary structure on such kind of platform as what I feel. However, I can tell you two things that you have to consider while restructuring your salary as under:
1. Basic + DA (or Basic Consolidated) should be min 50% of Gross;
2. Salary in Kind should not be more than 15% of Gross.
