Hey folks, I'm already serving 90 days notice period after I hurt my directors feeling about leaving the company. Today I got a mail from HR head that we can extend your notice period for being non productive during this period. Is this legal? And how to avoid it? Since my Director and I have lost that trust in each other. Pls suggest.

What is the fact of the matter during notice oeriod?
Did you complete given tasks?
If so just send polite reply
Task v/s job completed.
If you had slackened, pull up and complete tasks and exit smoothly.
Not worth getting entangled in a looose loose situation.
Be diplomatic and settle the dispute by giving your output figures.

Im carrying out my regular task. But I don't have trust in my reporting manager and director
What if randomly they say that I was non productive during these days and I have to extend? That I didn't meet my sales target. How to go about it?

As it appears, you have served the notice period. Now at the end of it, HR has stated that they can extend the Notice Period. I presume that they didn't give you any feedback on any shortfall in your performance during this period.
Yes, you are within your right to reject the proposal and it will not be enforceable against you.
