The bonus liability of the contract labour rests with the contractor concerned. Principal employer has no liability as per Payment of Bonus Act 1965. Statutory Minimum Bonus is 8.33% of Annual Basic Pay & DA and as regards what an establishment has to pay would depend on its available surplus for the year.
