Dear All,
I wanted to do a survey about the organizations that are resorting to pay cut due to COVID-19. This is so that I can compare and take further steps in my organization. We are a mid-size organization but want to do all the research before going forward with any decision.
Here's what I came to know:
Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL Tech have decided on deferment of appraisals, promotions, bonuses, and incentives. no layoffs and no deductions will be made but there will be no salary hikes this time. Some have also pushed the DOJ of individuals already offered. They have also decided to no new recruitments policy unless absolutely necessary. No deductions have been made for March month's salary.
On the other hand, MakeMyTrip, Shuttl, Oyo, and Cleartrip have terminated employees and reduced salaries up to 25% for the key position. Indigo employees had taken a cut by 5 -25% in their salaries. Small and mid-size IT companies have made 10-25% salary cut although ensuring jobs to the employees and promising no layoffs.
I would like to know more about the names of the small or mid-size IT Companies doing so. Discussion is open to all.

The pay cut or reduction or termination during the lock down is bad and violation of advisory notified by the MHA & State Governments.
Therefore, any establishment resort to pay cut or reduction or termination during the lock down is illegal and have done by some understanding with their employee would not discuss the same in an open forum.
