Hello, I was working in a BPO since 13/01/2020, and yesterday I received a call stating that I was terminated and 06/04/2020 was my last working day. The reason for termination was the corona pandemic and the HR stated that the company was downsizing. I didn't had any other option other then just accepting whatever the hr stated. And now i received my FNF, relieving letter, seperation letter from my organization however the amount mentioned is very less. Is there any chance to negotiate this amount because i was informed about my termination without any prior notice and because of lockdown i cannot even apply anywhere else.
The hr stated that i will be getting some good amount in my FNF however its very less (5k to be precise).
Any help will be appreciated thanks.

Dear member,
As your date of joining is 13-Jan-2020, most probably you will be under probation. Therefore, you will not be eligible for the compensation in lieu of notice period. Nevertheless, you are eligible to get the salary till 6th Apr 2020. Please check whether you have got it or not. To know this, you may send the email to the HR professionals who deal with the Compensation and Benefits and request them to provide break up of the amount they have disbursed to you.
Thanks,
Dinesh Divekar
