You need to get notification for revision of CPI nos from Labour Bureau, Shimla.
Formula for revision in Variable DA is that by deducting revised CPI no from the
last CPI no (applicable to your State) and multiply by, the Factor number (which is also
mentioned in the notification.

Please visit website of Labour Commissionerate of your State. Browse through the sub-section given in the website "Acts & Rules" and refer minimum wages. Under this, various classes of industries/categories are mentioned with applicable minimum wages.
Refer this and determine the minimum wages for a particular position.
Hope I have clarified your querry fully.
