Hi experts, I want to draft team lunch policy for the team members who are performing excellent and contribute in business development.
Please share such policy if any of you already have in your company

Hi, This is purely depends upon the budget of company and subject to approval. Some companies invites family members of the employee too. Regards,

Hi Partner,
Though the intention may be good in order to motivate members to perform better, I think such a policy might just backfire.
Normally in companies team lunches are organised to create bonding among the team members, but here if only the perceived performers are involved in the team lunch, it may create a state of isolation for them from the rest of the team. As a result, the isolated performers may then have to become compulsive pleasers to the leadership, giving way to destructive office politics, where they become one sided supporting only the leadership against the team.
Instead, it would be good to frame the policy as applicable for the whole team, such that a fixed amount is kept aside per team member once in a quarter or year, whichever is applicable.
