Dear All, Can anyone please clarify that an complaint of gossips about a female staff's personal misbehaviour (no evidence for gossips) as a threat to the male staff to ICC committee formed to handle Sexual Harassment will be considered and what will happen then.

Internal Committee is constituted under Section-4 of the Sexual Harassment of Woman at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redessal) Act 2013
for Redressal of Sexual Harassment Complaints/ Reports filed/submitted by the Aggrieved Woman Complainant herself or by any other Person authorized /empowered by her as clarified in the aforesaid Act.
The Internal Committee as the "Redressal Mechanism " must deal with the SH Complaints forwarded to them has to Redress the same as per Provisions of the said Act of 2013 and tge Central Rules frmaed under the said Act and gazetted on 9.12.2013.
Any other SH Complaint filed by any other Gender Person (other than Female Gender Person) can be/ has to dealt with under the Provisions of either Certified Standing Orders or the Service Rules framed in line with Shops & Esta Act & Rules, as may be applicable or under IPC if the Complaints falls within IPC purview.
