1.One employee join us on 16th Jan 19 and left on 18th Sept 19, now i am making his F&F settlement , his working days (as per leave book ) is 165 Days , so he is eligible for EL. EL Calculation is 165/20 = 08 Days for payment.
Is this calculation is ok as per act.
2. as per act of 240 days for EL calculation, what is 240 days working days (25 days in month) or payable days (31 Days)
Please advice

240 days is the total paid days attended during 12 months. If the employee had worked only for a portion of the year, you can take it pro rate also. That means for 8 months it will be 8x20 days or 160 days and obviously, f he had put in 165 days he will get 8 days PL.
