Hi, can anyone help me to whom the letter for permission of Overtime has to be addressed? Also if received stamp from the labour office on our letter then is it considered that we can start overtime facility?

The post is very ambiguous as it doesn't indicate the law under which the permission for O.T work is sought by the poster's establishment.
That apart, getting the stamp of the receiver's office on the letter seeking some sort of permission cannot be treated that the permission sought out is sanctioned unless there's a statutorily deeming provision. At the most, it can be treated as an acknowledgement only.
