Intercompany transfer is possible only, if transfer is a part of terms and conditions of service / or as per the approved standing order of the company if any, /or if agreed by the workmen.
If the transfer involves distance / some inconvenience ie. Shifting / relocation / additional expenses required to be incurred by the employee towards conveyance and other incidental expenses, then the same should be addressed /considered favorably, as one time special payment or if the expenses are recurring, then monthly special allowance may have to be considered. The same on a later stage when wage / salary rationalization process takes place, the special allowance could be adjusted/ merged.
Format
' Based on the service conditions (quote clause if any), and in view of the business exigency, you are required to report for work at our branch unit from........(dt) . Considering your relocation, please note that, you will be paid a special allowance of ........... as one time consolidated allowance on reporting for work / or per month from the date of reporting for work. Please note that your place of work is................. from that date.
Your date of joining as recorded in our records....... remains the same as your service in the Parent Company would be considered for your service continuity.
