professional tax of employees is deducted from their salary.Hence the month you started distributing salary at actuals you have to remit PT.Other than this there are dates specified by relevant authority as to by what dates it is to be remitted.Also the slab of deduction is mentioned.and applicability as per the turnover the shedule of remittence can be opted.Pls refer the professional tax act and rules applicable as per the state.
