The company which i am working with is operating its business in different states. If an employee transferred from one state to another, will it be considered attrition of that state where he was previously working?

Dear Anonymous
Please clear your understanding about Attrition. If the company is same and employee is o the same payroll , mere transfer from one location/unit to another will not be called attrition.

Dear Colleague,
It is plus and minus of headcount in the same Company. In given State the headcount will be less by 1 and in another State it will be addition by 1. Attrition refers to termination of the employment by the company or by the employee's resignation.
