We are a 2 year old organisation an IT services Company based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. We are growing company and now close to 13 employees-both including sales and operations(engineers).
Both- sales personnel (for site survey) as well as engineers (for installation) have to travel locally and nationally for project related work.
We want to frame HR policies especially with regards to-
1. Leave, Attendance and Travel - reimbursements. Currently they are claiming heavy expenses related to Food (including cold drinks, travel by Ola/Uber, pizza with extra cheese etc- just to give you an example) and local travel (everyday petrol bill of min 500rs)
2. Also please advise if PF, gratuity etc ( any other law/provision) is applicable to us.
3. How many holidays- CL/PL/National holidays are applicable- if sat is a half working day. We are not maintaining any attendance- IN and OUT register also coz we believe in work completion no matter when you come and go. But few of them starts taking advantage of this situation.
4. Reimbursement of leave when they are on project for long duration ( say 7 days or more).
5. Anything else which you guys can suggest.
Does any one has readymade rule book to share with employees so that I can forward to all of them.
It will be a great help as to set processes gets tough for new companies like us with no previous experience in HR/Sales or Admin.
Thanking you all in anticipation.
