In accordance with the Supreme Court order of October 2016, a member could apply for enhancement of pension by contributing 8.33% of the actual salary. How does the notification of Aug 22 2014, effective from September 01 2014, effect a person who retired at the age of 60 on September 10 2016, and aving contributed to eps till September 30 2014. Is he entitled to apply for enhancement of pension by refunding the difference in the amount of eps, with interest, paid on the basis of 8.33% of the ceiling and 8.33% of actual salary.
